Multiple Sclerosis has 1000 Faces

In a virtual hands around the globe, today is World MS Day as national MS societies led by the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation join together to spread awareness, promote research, and improve the quality of life for those living with MS.

Together every individual, group and organisation in the world can fight to improve the quality of life of all people with MS and the many more people affected by it. The global MS movement:
  • Undertakes research into treatment for, and an end to, MS
  • Develops the capacity of MS societies to support people with MS
  • Communicates information about MS
  • Advocates and campaigns for the rights of people with MS

Join the Global Movement. End MS!!

  1. And what am I doing today? Getting to the library to volunteer. Not directly impacting World MS Day, but getting in my car and doing what I can today, because I can. And I'm ever grateful and aware.

Thanks Lisa, too, for listening to my "mole" story recently. You have a disposition that makes people want to snuggle up and confide in you. A gift, really.

    XOXO

  2. Lisa, I think it is amazing that they have declared a Worldwide MS Day! That is a major step for us. I can't say that I did too much to help out. I really didn't know what to do. But I try everyday to help spread Awareness and to get people involved somehow. In the very least I try to get information out to the public about MS. Thank You for sharing the information.

LOL Now...if I could only find where I packed my red HOPE bracelett. Yes, it will take aworld wide research effort to cure and repair damage from the disease. Hip hip hooray!
