The Vault and The Walking Gallery

The art of Regina Holliday, patient rights arts advocate, and others will be featured on display tonight at the Center for Total Health in Washington, DC.  This isn't just any art show where paintings go up on walls and sculptures are placed on pedestals though.  Each piece of art, which tells an individual's story, will be worn on the backs of living 'pedestals' - the walkers - at The Walking Gallery.

Jackets were sent from all over to become canvases for Regina's paint brush and for other artists as well.  At last count, I read that there are at least 54 jackets, many of which can be seen here.  Paint was still being applied late last night.

Regina turned my blog/story "The value of money or the value of health - What do you see?"  into The Vault.  Read the story, examine the painting, and tell me what you see.

  1. Very Cool. I see the needles and the money inside what would be a Vault. However, if you closed that Vault I could also see the outside being a compass. A Compass representing what though...it could have several meanings. I'm reading more that I believe is in the painting, but, very cool.

yeah yeah just my negativity LOL

Your thinking your health vault need a lot of $ in it.

All the jackets are so awesome! How talented Regina Holiday is! If only I lived in Washington D.C.
