Did they go hire the local snake oil salesman? The bold type, the buy now, the "free" throw-ins, the limited time offers. C'mon, if the information was so good, it should be presented in a professional manner, marketed through book signing tours, talk show and radio appearances, etc. I would have bought the book but I was turned off by the selling approach.

I still can't get over the list of doctors, do those people know their names are being used in connection with the book? Either the books is a total farce and using their names without approval, or it is a collection of generally accepted home remedies already acknowledged by the medical profession, or...I don't know, what do you guys think?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02942516742281137442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3500936220214961312.post-83898699942648867932009-02-06T16:17:00.000-05:002009-02-06T16:17:00.000-05:00I'm not sure if this books is all its is cracked u...I'm not sure if this books is all its is cracked up to be, but I've researched the list of alleged endorsers of the book, I even know one of them. I can't imagine whey they'd underwrite this if it were a fraud, risking a reputation that took decades to painstakingly build. One of my tenants was a higher-up in a local Boston pharma company, and she was the first person who opened my eyes to the "big medicine" conspiracy. I thought she was pulling my leg with some of the things she told me, allegedly a cure for aids that was suppressed, and more...Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02942516742281137442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3500936220214961312.post-23779441212759576682008-06-16T18:13:00.000-04:002008-06-16T18:13:00.000-04:00Thank you for taking the time to comment. I had a college friend who came from Kalamazoo, MI.

The point of my post here is that the publishers of the "Secrets" Book is to sell lots of copies. Many of the ideas included, I'm positive are available to readers in other venues. I'm not necessarily against natural/alternative medicine. My greatgrandfather was key in establishing a respect for the health benefits of more natural sources. In fact, he moved to Sulfur, OK due to the seven distinct mineral springs to be found there.

I'm opposed to the commercialism for information which is not likely to be unique.

Again, thanks.Lisa Emrichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10862232056342347990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3500936220214961312.post-85836805675810294292008-06-16T17:33:00.000-04:002008-06-16T17:33:00.000-04:00Addendum to the above: I did not sign my name beca...Addendum to the above: I did not sign my name because, frankly, I don't want the potential "issues" involved with posting a controversial comment. Trust me, I'm a real person--a retired nurse, and live in the Midwest USA, and have a very strong family history of cancer on maternal and paternal sides. I've watched this issued with a lot of interest for decades now. Oh, BTW, my father used alternative treatments for cancer, too. He's 92 years old.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3500936220214961312.post-85043639896628841422008-06-16T17:30:00.000-04:002008-06-16T17:30:00.000-04:00I have no doubt at all that some alternative treat...I have no doubt at all that some alternative treatments are both effective and suppressed by "Them." I know too many individuals personally who have used alternative treatments for cancer, with total cures years ago, no recurrence, to not believe that there is much fact in the efficacy of treatments that Big Pharmacy, Big Medicine, and Big Business in General, would rather go away.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
