Five-year Anniversary

Five years ago today on October 12, 2005, my neurologist didn't tell me I had MS.  However, this was the day I was officially diagnosed with definite MS. Of course I had been living with MS for longer than that, it is just the day that it became official.  Time certainly has flown....much of that due to the great friends and support I've received from the online MS community.  Thank you!

  8. Wow! I never would have guessed. Then again EDSS scores and years since DX are not traditional headers in blog profiles. You write with heart beyond your years, keep goin'!

  9. Lisa, It amazes me how much you have given to this community in such a short period of time. I applaud you on being that amazing force for all of us who are "living with it". If these are you accomplishments just 5 official years into it... imagine what's to come.
    All the best to you~

  10. I call mine my MS birthday. I get gifts and have a party. All about embracing for me, a rebirth of sorts. I agree with mslol, amazing how much you have done for the MS community in just 5 years---you should feel very proud. I mention your blog often to those I meet with MS, and would probably suggest it before the NMSS site.
